Our History

Beaverdam Elementary School opened its doors in 2016 as part of the Wake County Public School System’s continued commitment to serving a growing community. Designed to provide a modern, student-centered learning environment, Beaverdam welcomed its first students in August 2016 and quickly became a place where students, families, and staff come together to learn, grow, and succeed.

Since opening, Beaverdam has built a strong tradition of academic excellence, collaboration, and community connection. Our school is defined by the dedication of our students, families, educators, and community partners who work together each day to create a positive and supportive environment where every Beaver can thrive.

As we continue to grow, we remain committed to honoring our past while preparing students for a successful future through strong relationships, high expectations, and a love of learning.

This year, we will celebrate 10 magical years of Beaverdam!

Beaverdam Mission Statement

The mission of Beaverdam Elementary School is to provide a nurturing, engaging and adaptive learning environment, which will allow students to thrive and grow into productive 21st century citizens.
